When you are interested in having your portrait made, the procedure is as follows:

I come to visit you for one day. It helps very much if I can get an idea of ‘who you are’. In this way I can ‘fill’ the painting with ‘life and soul’.
During that day I take a series of about 100 photos by daylight, not with flash light. This takes not more than an hour.
With this material I make the portrait at home, in Barcelona.

standard canvas is 61 x 45,5 cm.
The technique: oil on canvas.
The to agree price includes the travel expenses and the transport of the canvas to your house. If I make two portraits (for example of you and your companion) the second canvas costs less.

Because we are dealing with a portrait assignment, I ask half to be payed in advance. The second half has to be payed on delivery.

Time required for a portrait: one or two months from start.

In the past I have made series of portraits in threes. It gives me more space to show different sides to the portrayed. Then the price changes per canvas.
It is also possible to make portraits of an other size, but then the price will change. And if you have special requests, we can always talk.
